Hooded Gas
Outback’s Hooded gas barbecues are a true feat of engineering. In order to be able to produce a one piece, porcelain coated, deep draw hood, Outback have used the finest steel, the best porcelain and invested millions of dollars in heavy machinery to stamp out the shape.
Why did we bother? Simple. Porcelain coating ensures that the entire hood is not only rust proof, it can also stand extreme temperatures that are impossible for normal paint to endure.

The Hooded Range of Gas Barbecues

This allows the chef to use all the burners, and all the cooking area with the hood open or closed. Being one piece means that there are no seams where heat can get out or where water can get in and start to corrode the metal. Not all barbecues are the same!
Here are some of the improvements since the Hooded gas range was introduced:
One pc porcelain enamelled hood, stylish trolleys, stainless steel burners, porcelain grills and griddles, porcelain enamelled flame tamer, Integra-Spark ignition
